The device also offers three selectable alarm volume levels – high, low, and mute – catering to diverse user needs, with the mute option being particularly useful in quiet environments such as classrooms, libraries, and offices.

To conserve battery life, the timer features a power-saving mode that automatically dims the display after 5 seconds of inactivity, and completely shuts it off after another 5 seconds. To wake the screen, simply rotate the knob without pressing the button.
